Results of the Student Feedback on Course Experiences survey are available for student review at reports.umd.edu. Results are only available if 70% or more of students enrolled in the course completed the survey. Survey results are available to increase transparency and improve the program. Decisions related to faculty hiring and merit pay are based partly on the survey results. Feedback results have been used to determine whether an instructor should be reassigned or not rehired.
