Daniel Alegbeleye, Chief Officer of Special Events, was born in Edo State, Nigeria. He later immigrated to the United States with his parents and older brother. In his professional life, Daniel is a Market Development Manager for National Nail. Daniel specializes in fostering and facilitating strong business partnerships. He is responsible for building the Maryland, District of Columbia, and Delaware business markets. Daniel is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. After graduating from The University of the District of Columbia School of Law (UDC Law), Daniel realized that you cannot have social justice without economic justice. In his current role as Chief Officer of Special Events, Daniel intends to keep a key principle of business at the forefront – Your Net worth is your Network. Daniel wants to promote events to bring students, faculty, and alumni from various areas of the Smith School together. Daniel is inspired daily by his immigrant background. He completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, earning a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Marketing. Throughout his academic journey and early career, he has gained valuable marketing experience through various opportunities with renowned organizations such as Nike, the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Tigers, and Eastern Michigan University. In addition to his professional and academic pursuits, Marcus has a passion for leisure activities such as playing pool, video games, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Abigail is a second-year MBA candidate and is honored to be representing the DC campus on the R.H. Smith School of Business PTMBAA board. With a background in client relations and fundraising, Abigail brings her passion for building relationships and connecting people to her professional pursuits, her position on this board and her other volunteer activities. Abigail’s professional background is in the performing arts and higher education, and she is currently a relationship manager at the Kennedy Center, working with corporate sponsors. Outside of work, Abigail is involved in serving her community through membership in the Junior League of Washington and enjoys traveling and hiking in her spare time.

A Maryland native and first-generation college student, Amha earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. With over a decade of experience in customer success and project management, Amha is passionate about leveraging technology to drive client satisfaction. Serving as a track representative and Vice President for the Shady Grove campus, Amha is dedicated to advocating for the current student body as well as future groups. Erin is honored to serve as the Campus VP for the Baltimore campus. With an Emmy Award-winning background in sports video production spanning over a decade, she brings extensive expertise in content strategy, digital marketing, and communications. Originally from Metro Detroit, she has dedicated the last seven years to the Baltimore area, holding production roles with the Ravens, Nationals, and Under Armour. Erin is an enthusiastic member of the Baltimore Spartans alumni group (Go Green!), and is excited to represent the Terps as a second-year MBA student. Outside of work and studies, Erin loves volunteering at the Maryland SPCA, where she also adopted her foster dog.
