The Smith School MBA Orientation gives a unique introduction to all Smith has to offer such as insightful orientation activities and Office of Career Services programming.
Please hold Monday, August 18, 2025 - Wednesday, August 20, 2025 for Orientation events. Optional social events may be scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2025 and Friday, August 22, 2025.
The Orientation Committee will confirm a complete Schedule of Events and it will be posted on this website when available.
Students should arrive in Maryland by Tuesday, August 12, for Orientation activities and, if applicable, to complete HR paperwork for graduate assistantships offered at the time of admission. Graduate assistants should complete their HR paperwork in advance, as it cannot be done during Orientation without missing key onboarding information. Orientation provides students with a unique introduction to all Smith has to offer, with insightful activities, and Office of Career Services programming.
