Students can apply for a campus parking permit through the Department of Transportation Services (DOTS). Students must be registered for classes before applying. Parking registration is done on a space-available basis.
Fall 2026 registration for permits opens online on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. Register through the parking account portal. Students need their Directory ID and password to register.
The parking fee for a commuter student permit is posted on the fees and permit types page. Parking permit fees are applied to student accounts.
Graduate students will have the choice of parking in several lots on campus, based on availability. Lot 1 is closest to Van Munching Hall, where the Smith School is located, and is recommended for MBA and Business Master's students.
