Students who plan to drive to the College Park campus for the academic year need to purchase a student commuter parking permit. For more details, please see the College Park Parking Permit Information.
If you are planning to drive to Orientation/Opening Residency:
Friday, August 14 - OMBA Campus Day:
Park in Lot 1 OR Lot U2 (Mowatt Lane Garage) after 4:00p.m. Do not park in visitor parking or Lot 19 within the garage - please check signage.
Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 - Flex & OMBA Opening Residency:
Park in Lot 1 OR Lot U2 (Mowatt Lane Garage) - do not park in visitor parking or Lot 19 within the garage - please check signage.
Monday, August 17 - Friday, August 21 - Full-Time MBA and Business Master's Orientations:
If you have purchased a Fall 2026 or Annual 2026-2027 parking permit, you may park in Lot 19 ONLY starting Monday, August 17. Lot 19 is located within the Mowatt Lane Garage - do not park in visitor parking or Lot U2 within the garage - please check signage.
If you do not have a parking permit but would like to drive to campus for Orientation events, you will need to pay to park in visitor parking.
Please note: Beginning August 24, students must park in their assigned lot according to their Fall 2026 or Annual 2026-2027 parking permit.

Important: Please be aware of construction on campus including major road closures and sidewalk impacts due to the Purple Line construction that may overlap with Opening Residency and Orientation events.

The College Park Metro Station is located on the Green Line. Please visit the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's website to find useful information on Metrobus, Metrorail, the Metrochek program (including Smart Benefits), and even a Ride Guide, which will list transportation options, and current fare charges, from an origination point to final destination.
