Required Courses
Register for the appropriate Spring Term C required courses (select one section per course):

- SO11: Mondays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
- SO12: Mondays, 8:15 – 9:45 p.m.
*This course has required prework that will contribute to the overall grade for BUSO601. Information forthcoming.
- BUSO602 Financial Accounting
- SO11: Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
- SO12: Wednesdays, 8:15 – 9:45 p.m.
Register for the appropriate Spring Term D required courses (select one section per course):
- BUSO758J Corporate Finance II
- SO11: Mondays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

- BUSO614 Strategic Management
- SO11: Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Required Course Registration
Within Registration (Drop/Add):
- Select Term: Spring 2026.
- Enter course information (for each required course):
- Course Number: (Ex. BUSO602)
- Section Number: (Ex. SO11)
- Grading Method: Select None from the drop-down menu
- Credits: leave blank
- Click Submit Changes.
- A message may appear stating that the course is non-standard; click Enter to bypass this message.
- Note: All graduate-level courses at the Smith School of Business are non-standard.
- Click View Schedule to confirm courses.
Registration Notes
- Fall 2025 admits who missed BUSO700 Fundamentals of Business (Opening Residency) in Fall 2025, should contact their advisor at smith-mpo-omba@umd.edu to discuss next steps. BUSO700 is a required course for graduation.
