Curriculum

The Smith School's MBA programs have a STEM-designation, highlighting the curriculum's focus on analysis and data-driven methodologies. This designation reflects and acknowledges the degree's significance for those interested in pursuing roles in data analytics and technology-driven industries.

The Full-Time MBA Program follows a two-year format:

  • Curriculum is composed of 28 required and 26 elective credit requirements.
  • Students may focus their electives under specializations such as AI & Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Marketing and/or Sustainability. However, official concentrations do not exist at the Robert H. Smith School of Business and a notation will not appear on your diploma or transcript indicating an area of focus.
  • Degrees conferred from May 2023 to present receive the STEM-designation.
  • Students can take no more than 17 credits per semester.

Graduation Requirements

  • 54 credits - 28 required credits and 26 elective credits
  • Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0
