Requirements vary by program, but most MBA dual degree students complete MBA core courses along with completing the degree requirements for a second graduate degree. Some programs require a separate application or standardized test scores for admission.
Smith School Masters Programs
The dual MBA and business master's specialty programs combine broad management skills with in-depth knowledge of one business area. Students earn two masters degrees, the MBA and one of the following:
- MBA/Master of Finance
- MBA/MS in Accounting
- MBA/MS in Business Analytics & AI
- MBA/MS in Information Systems & AI
- MBA/ MS in Marketing Analytics
- MBA/MS in Supply Chain Management
These dual degrees are currently offered only in person in College Park, with courses in the fall and spring semesters. Business masters tuition and fees differ from the MBA tuition and fees. The program generally takes 2½ years to 3½ years for students to complete, and both masters degrees are awarded simultaneously.

Curriculum Requirements
Dual degree students are required to complete core MBA course requirements for the term they are admitted, plus the requirements of second degree. Academic advisors work with each student and the academic departments to build an individualized curriculum.
