This course is aimed at examining the principles of sustainable and humanitarian supply chains. We will explore different frameworks commonly used for sustainable development, along with the available standards and metrics for measuring sustainability. During the course, we will discuss various ways to enable supply chain visibility and transparency, align incentives, and design a supply chain during emergency events that meet sustainability goals. You will also gain a comprehensive understanding of sustainable practices from a social sustainability perspective. The course will include lectures, discussions, student presentations, relevant readings, case studies, and videos.
