This course introduces governance and accounting for the not-for-profit sector, government financial reporting and accountability, and the increasing expectations for corporate sustainability reporting. Detailed topics discussed related to not-for-profit entities include: their creation and structure, governance and financial accountability, tax challenges, and current issues and future trends. The information presented in the course prepares professionals for a variety of different advisory roles such as board membership in the not-for-profit, government, and corporate sectors.
