The MS in Business and Management experiential learning class offers students the opportunity to interact with industry experts about their journey at transforming their passion into a business enterprise, or working in an existing enterprise that allows them to leverage on their passion/interest in a business organization. The first part of the class will consist of meeting industry experts in the areas of sports management, arts management, consulting, strategy and more and engaging in weekly individual reflections. The first part of the class will culminate into a choice of an industry to work on for a consulting capstone project. The second part of the class will be dedicated to a consulting project with a client. Students will examine consulting processes, tools, and theories they have acquired throughout the studies in the MS in Business and Management, and apply them with a client project, culminating in a deliverable to the client as well as students’ reflections and synthesis of their learning.
