The Rockville Campus at the Universities at Shady Grove is located in the heart of the thriving I-270 Technology Corridor. Current students come from many bio-tech companies as well as other organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Marriott, NASDAQ, and Hughes Network Systems, and the Federal Government (NIH, FDA, etc.).
Parking
Campus Parking at the Universities at Shady Grove is available off of Gudelsky Drive and Traville Gateway Drive. Hourly visitor parking is available in the Traville Gateway Drive and Shady Grove Road garages. Student parking permits are recommended for students visiting campus frequently. Computer Labs and Printing Stations
Wireless internet information can be found on the USG Office of Information Technology website. Computer labs at USG are located in BLD I: 206 - 207 and BLD 3: 2103 - 2139.

Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
There are 2 computer terminals with free printing access in the Masters Programs Office suite (BLD 4: 5137).

Smith Facilities at the Universities at Shady Grove
Inside the Masters Programs Office, MBA and Business Masters students will usually find complimentary coffee, tea and water service. As of Spring 2022, these services are currently unavailable.
There are vending machines on the third and fourth floors of the BSE, past the elevators. Students can find a microwave inside MPO.
Study & Breakout Room Requests
Smith students taking classes at the Rockville Campus have the opportunity to reserve study rooms in BLD 4 using their University of Maryland ID number in place of a USG ID number. Please note that you must have at least two people in your group to reserve a study room and that there are policies and reservation rules in place.
Campus Recreation Center
The CRC consists of a workout room, an aerobics/game room, a lounge and a locker room complete with showers. The lounge offers students and faculty a relaxing vicinity that includes a big screen plasma TV, several comfortable sofas and chess/checker tables. Rockville students can join in-person or virtual classes/activities.
The CRC is located in BLDG 3, Room 2240 and can be reached at (301) 738-6299.

Grab-and-Go Dining Options
Fresh meals, heat-to-eat dinners, tasty snacks, drinks, and specialty coffee are available 24/7 in two grab-and-go areas: the Mini Marketplace (BLDG IV, first floor) and Green Grove Café (BLDG III, first floor). These spaces utilize self-checkout kiosks accepting Credit/Debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Vending machines are also available throughout the campus.
Directions
Take I-270 to Exit 8 – Shady Grove Road West. Go 1.5 miles, cross over Route 28/Darnestown Road. Turn right onto Gudelsky Way and left onto Gudelsky Drive. Follow the road to the Montgomery County Campus. BLDG I is visible first, BLDG 2 is located directly behind it, BLDG 3 is to the left. All MBA/MS classes are located in BLDG 4.
