Registration Instructions

Registration Notes

• Your Directory ID and password must be set BEFORE you can register; see Directions for Setting Up Directory ID and Password.
• In-person attendance dates for the Opening Residency course occur before the start of Term C on Saturday & Sunday, January 11 & 12, 2025 in Van Munching Hall on the College Park campus. Completion of this course is required to graduate.
• Both admitted Flex and Online MBA admitted students register for the Opening Residency course.
• Registration is conducted via Testudo's Registration (Drop/Add) feature.

To secure your preferred seats in spring courses, please register as soon as possible. 

Last day to register for BUSO700 SO91 is Monday, January 6, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. ET.

Registration Steps

1. Go to Testudo.
2. Click on Registration (Drop/Add).
3. Enter your [Directory ID] and [password] in the Central Authentication Service (CAS) login screen and click Log In.
4. Select Term: Spring 2025.
5. Enter Fundamentals of Business (Opening Residency) course information:
   • Course Number: BUSO700
   • Section Number: SO91
   • Grading Method: S/F
     • Note: Follow prompts for Testudo's suggested grading method based on course requirements.
   • Credits: [leave blank]
6. Follow the same steps as noted in Step 5 and enter preferred section numbers for the following courses:
   • BUSO601
   • BUSO602
   • BUSO614 
   • BUSO620
7. Click Submit Changes. A message may appear stating that the course is non-standard; click Enter to bypass this message.
   • Note: All graduate-level courses at the Smith School of Business are non-standard.
8. Click View Schedule to confirm courses.

CORE COURSE SCHEDULE FOR SPRING 2025

Below are the courses that are included in the Spring 2025 track. 

• Courses are completed in 7-week sessions referred to as "terms". Term C meets January through mid-March, and Term D meets mid-March through May.
• For specific dates including the final exam period, review the Academic Calendar.
