International Student Resources

International students comprise a significant portion of the Business Master's population, representing many countries. The University of Maryland International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) is a primary resource for requirements for international students studying at the Smith School.

The UMD Graduate School oversees English Language Requirements for Enrollment. Admitted students placed into the Advanced English Writing Course must successfully complete the Advanced English Writing Course at the Maryland English Institute in their second semester of study. Students planning to retake the TOEFL/IELTS/PTE must submit scores prior to July 7th.
