Registration Instructions

Students should register for courses upon receiving registration instructions by email. Failure to register within one week of receiving instructions may result in the termination of admission to the program. Please review all of the information on this page before attempting to register.

HOW TO REGISTER

Directory ID and password must be set BEFORE registration; see Directions for Setting Up Directory ID and Password.

Step 1: Log-in to Testudo

Go to: http://www.testudo.umd.edu/
Click on: Registration (Drop/Add)
Enter your Directory ID and Password
Select: Fall 2025

Step 2: Add Track of Required Courses

Enter the following information in the "Registration (Drop/Add)" screen of Testudo. Testudo will not allow students to register for courses individually. Registering for the course track will enroll students in multiple required courses at once.

Step 3: Add Addition Required Courses for 2 semester option

For students that would like to complete the program in just 2 semesters instead of 3, you will need to add the 3 courses below after you have added the track listed above.

Step 4 (Optional): Add Elective Course

MS in Management Studies students completing the program in 2 semesters are encouraged, but not required, to take one elective course in the fall 2025 semester. Students may choose to take the elective course in fall 2025--Sales Sports and Sponsorship--or they may choose to take an alternate elective course in the upcoming winter or spring semester. This option is not suggested for students planning to complete the program in 3 semesters.

Students who want to take Sales Sports and Sponsorship in fall 2025 should enter the following information in the "Registration (Drop/Add)" screen of Testudo. A message will state that the course is non-standard; click "Enter" to bypass this message.
