Registration Notes
- Your Directory ID and password must be set BEFORE you can register; see Directions for Setting Up Directory ID and Password.
- In-person attendance dates for the Opening Residency course occur before the start of Term C on Saturday & Sunday, January 11 & 12, 2025 in Van Munching Hall on the College Park campus. Completion of this course is required to graduate.
- Both admitted Flex and Online MBA admitted students register for the Opening Residency course.
- Registration is conducted via Testudo's Registration (Drop/Add) feature.
- Testudo will not allow you to register for core courses individually. All incoming Flex MBA students are assigned to the same track of courses for the Spring semester. Enter the information as indicated below to register for the correct track of courses.
To secure your preferred seats in spring courses, please register as soon as possible.

Registration Steps
- Go to Testudo.
- Click on Registration (Drop/Add).
- Enter your [Directory ID] and [password] in the Central Authentication Service (CAS) login screen and click Log In.
- Select Term: Spring 2025.
- Enter Fundamentals of Business (Opening Residency) course information:
- Course Number: BUSO700
- Section Number: SO91
- Grading Method: S/F
- Note: Follow prompts for Testudo's suggested grading method based on course requirements.
- Credits: leave blank
- Click Submit Changes. A message may appear stating that the course is non-standard; click Enter to bypass this message.
- Note: All graduate-level courses at the Smith School of Business are non-standard.
- Enter Core Courses track information:
- Course Number: MBAB99MB (track code)
- Section Number (use the section for your home campus):
- Baltimore: BA11
- Rockville: GS11
- Washington, DC: DC11
- Grading Method: Select None from the drop-down menu
- Credits: leave blank
