Dear incoming Master of Science in Accounting student,

As a reminder, the Incoming Student Website at https://networth.rhsmith.umd.edu/welcome-cp-acct should serve as your primary source of information to prepare for this fall, and I will send you an email with important information and links every week until you arrive for Orientation. Orientation begins on August 18th.

Course Registration

Fall 2017 course registration for the MS in Accounting students in your track has begun. If you haven't yet registered for courses, please do so right away. Step-by-step registration instructions are be posted in the Course Registration portion of the Incoming Student Website at https://networth.rhsmith.umd.edu/welcome-cp-acct/registration-pre-skills.

Student Billing & Payment Information

The University of Maryland Office of Student Financial Services and Cashiering handles student account and billing information. Incoming student bills are generated in mid-July. The following financial information may be helpful to you:

• Payment can be made to the Office of Student Financial Services and Cashiering via the Pay Your Bill link on the Incoming Student Website at https://networth.rhsmith.umd.edu/welcome/program-information/billing-mfin-ms-students
• Tuition rates are posted in the Financial Information section of the Incoming Student Website at https://networth.rhsmith.umd.edu/welcome/program-information/financial-information-ms-students  
• Payment for fall 2017 is due by August 20th. 
• An itemized bill can be requested by emailing the Bursar directly at billtalk@umd.edu.
• If you have any questions about tuition or billing, please contact Samantha Hanssen (shanssen@rhsmith.umd.edu), MPO's Program Coordinator for Financial Aid.
