MBA Capstone/Closing Residency Requirement - 2 Credits

Students must complete the MBA Capstone/Closing Residency as a part of the 36 required course credits in order to graduate. The MBA Capstone is a new venture simulation where teams will compete to attract investments and generate the best returns for the stakeholders. Students will gain experience in market analysis, strategy formulation, and the management of a new venture, exploring the interconnectedness of the various functional business areas.

Due to the nature of the course, students are strongly encouraged to complete this requirement near the end of their program of study. The Closing Residency will be held at Van Munching Hall in College Park. Students should anticipate an 8am-6pm schedule each day.

Elective Courses - 18 Credits

Students are required to complete 18 credits of elective courses for graduation. The below elective course timelines are meant as recommendations. The Fall 2020 Curriculum Guide can be utilized for student planning purposes. Curriculum and course numbers are subject to change. Please contact your campus advisor to discuss alternatives.
