Students are invited to join MPO staff to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) on Friday, March 3rd. NMAAHC opened in Fall 2016, and is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. Students attending will be expected to meet at the Smith School Washington, DC Campus between 12:30 and 1:30 for lunch, then walk to the museum with the group for 2:00 entry.
