Welcome to the Robert H. Smith School of Business!

Dear Admitted Student,

Welcome to the Flex MBA Program at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business!
Our names are Martha Schnare (Baltimore campus), Justin Thompson (Washington, DC campus), and Taj Rayhan (Rockville campus) and we are your advisors and main point of contacts for Flex MBA students at your respective home campuses. We are with the Smith School's Masters Programs Office (MPO), and our goal is to provide assistance and exceptional service to current master's students.
 
Beginning now until you start your Flex MBA program, you will receive a weekly email covering important topics to make your student onboarding process easier and help prepare you for a Spring 2023 start. For your convenience, all weekly emails will also be posted on the Admitted Student Website (ASW), which is the Smith School's masters student portal to information about residency, class registration, advising and much more.
 
As a graduate student, you will receive university correspondence to your @umd.edu email account. Your UMD account address is [directoryID]@umd.edu. 
 
Emails will be sent by the Smith School staff only to your @umd.edu email account for the spring semester and beyond. I usually send a weekly update to all students during the semester. Please contact the UMD Division of Information Technology at itsupport@umd.edu with questions about accessing your UMD email.
