Weekly Highlight: Office of Career Services:

Dear MBA Class of 2019,

Welcome to the Smith School of Business and into a meaningful engagement with the Office of Career Services. We have been preparing for your arrival and are ready to partner with you as you transform your careers and become great business leaders.

The Office of Career Services takes a co-active approach to MBA career development to ensure that you benefit from our comprehensive approach to the MBA job market and that you harness your deepest motivation to reach your highest potential.

We expect you to bring clear intentions, courage, and determination to the MBA job search, which involves two job searches in under two years. You will encounter a myriad of challenges, options, opportunities, and decisions that will be up to you to make.

And we will be right beside you.

Our teams of career coaches, program facilitators, employer developers, and recruiting coordinators are here to support each and every one of you as you step forward into fulfilling careers. We will provide guidance on the MBA career landscape, co-design a proactive job search plan, and plot the steps that will take you from where you are now to where you want to go. We will help you navigate key pivot points along the way, provide you with feedback, drill you in new skill areas, and offer ongoing encouragement.

The ambition and drive will be up to you. We can’t wait to see it.

We love the work we do and we’re eager to find out what lies ahead in our partnership with you. We look forward to our virtual engagement with you over the summer and to shaking hands when you arrive on campus. Our doors will be open and waiting for you.

Be fearless -
