The Smith School's MBA programs have a STEM designation, highlighting the curriculum's focus on analysis and data-driven methodologies. This designation reflects and acknowledges the degree's significance for those interested in pursuing roles in data analytics and technology-driven industries.
The Flex MBA program follows a 24-month format:
- All required courses are completed with a student's cohort at their home campus, with the option to take the online version based on exceptional circumstances. Electives are a mix of in person at Flex campuses and online.
- Students may focus their electives in the areas of Digital Marketing, Finance (Corporate or Investment), Innovation and Project Management, or General Management. However, official concentrations do not exist at the Robert H. Smith School of Business and a notation will not appear on your diploma or transcript indicating an area of focus.
- The MBA must be completed within five years, per University policy.
Students are required to complete a total of 54 credits: 26 required course credits and 28 elective course credits.
The Flex MBA Curriculum Guide will be shared this summer and should be utilized for student planning purposes. Curriculum and course numbers are subject to change.
