Fall 2021 Pre-Skills Requirements: BUSI681 DC01 & DC02

Math Camp

A virtual Math Camp will be offered for BUSI 681 Managerial Economics and Public Policy in Fall 2021 Term A, so students can review their math skills and knowledge in preparation for this course.  This course will require students to apply algebra, geometry and calculus, to fully understand the economic principles and business strategies taught in the course.

Students can assess their math skills on the course's Canvas page. On the home page click on "Modules" and then select "Math Pre-Skills," where you can complete the "Math Pre-Skills Quiz." If the results of your math quiz indicate that you need improvement, it is highly recommended that you attend at least one session or all sessions of Math Camp. The tentative dates for Math Camp are:

  • Session #1: Thursday, August 5 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm.
  • Session #2: Friday, August 13 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm.
  • Session #3: Wednesday, August 18 from 8:00pm - 9:00pm.
  • Session #4: Tuesday, August 24 from 9:00pm - 10:00pm.

The Zoom links for the sessions will be available on Canvas as it gets closer to the dates, including updates from the faculty member, Dr. Ryan Cooper.
