MPO and the Smith Master Student Association (SMSA) have partnered to offer this workshop with instructor Ravi Pandey. This workshop is only open to current Smith School students.

This workshop is subject to cancellation due to low registration.

Expected Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand basic fundamentals of cloud computing using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam (entry-level certification for AWS)

Prerequisite & Preparation:

  • Windows users will need Microsoft Windows 8/10.
  • MAC users will need Mac OS 10+.
  • A credit card will be required to register to use AWS; some services are free and some have a small fee for using them.

  • S3
  • EC2
  • Databases
  • Analytics Services
  • ECS, Lambda, LightSail
  • Beanstalk and CodeDeploy
  • Route53 and Cloudfront
  • VPC
  • Machine Learning Services
