Intermediate Excel

The Masters Programs Office (MPO) and the Smith Master Student Association (SMSA) partner to offer skill building workshops to current Smith School students.

This Intermediate Excel Workshop will be offered by Farzad Fathi, Ph.D. Candidate in Operations Management/Management Science at the Smith School. The workshop will cover the following learning contents - error handling and named ranges to prepare source data; creating pivot tables to analyze, sort, filter and present data; creating macros to automate tasks; and linear regression and prediction.

To attend the workshop, students should have Excel installed on their computer and be familiar with the Excel basics (cells, rows, columns, sheets, ranges).

This workshop will be delivered in-person; students can also attend the workshop via Zoom online. The Zoom link will be sent to registered attendees prior to the workshop.
