Fearless Speaker Series: Francis Smith, Co-Founder Director of Engineering and Finance, Diamondback Brewing Co.

We are pleased to announce Francis Smith, Co-Founder, Director of Engineering and Finance for Diamondback Brewing Co. is coming to the Baltimore campus! Francis is a Maryland alum with a background in mechanical engineering and economics. Francis brought his project management experience from Whiting-Turner to manage the construction & system design of their brewery located in Locust Point. With the taproom up and running, Francis oversees administration & taproom management, utilizing analytical skills to search for the highest margin opportunities.  Diamondback Brewing Company is an artisanal brewery producing over 1,000 barrels per year.

Diamondback is a believer of slow beer mentality - a belief that beer takes times time and intention -and has embraced this motto through-out the company with restrained growth, self-distribution, and a constant dedication to their craft.
