The Newseum—one of DC’s most dynamic and interactive museums—allows visitors to experience historical and current stories through the eyes of the media while celebrating the freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment. Masters students are invited to visit the museum on Friday, March 31st. Tickets are FREE to students who attend with Smith (ticket price is $24.95 on your own). Students who attend should plan to meet at the DC Campus Suite (Concourse level of the Ronald Reagan Building 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC; close to the Federal Triangle Metro Station (orange/blue line) at 9:30 am for a light cold breakfast. After breakfast, we will walk to the Newseum together for 11:00 am entry. Students may stay at the museum for any length of time and leave when they are done. Lunch will not be provided.
