Optional Practical Training (OPT) Workshop for International Students

The International Students & Scholar Services staff will offer an Optional Practical Training (OPT) workshop specifically designed for Smith Masters students on Friday, February 24th at 2:00 pm in Tyser Auditorium, Van Munching Hall. This workshop is for students completing their degree program in May 2017. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) permits students in F-1 status to work in the United States so that they may reinforce what they have learned in university and college degree programs—this benefit is known as OPT. Students are required to attend an OPT workshop before applying for OPT.
