COVID 19 Testing Requirement

When: Tue, Sep 1, 2020 - 10:45 am to 10:45 am

Students who are actively coming to campus for Term A classes should get re-tested this month. The following information about COVID testing can be found in President Pines' September 4 email and in the 4Maryland Health & Safety Plan:

Personal COVID-19 Dashboard
We know that there are many required activities to prioritize safety in the UMD community. To help us all meet our obligations, I am pleased to announce a personal dashboard that will confirm your status in meeting COVID-19 return-to-campus requirements. On your personal dashboard you can view and confirm whether you have reported recent COVID-19 test results, watched the mandatory training video, and completed the daily symptom checklist for each of the past 14 days. Don't forget to complete the checklist every day, even if you are not coming to campus that day, if you plan to be on campus within the next 14 days. We have learned that many people were unaware of the requirement to complete the symptom checklist even on days they didn't visit campus. As a result, if you were symptom-free, but did not complete the checklist between August 22 and September 3 on days you were not on campus, you may still come to campus if you meet the other requirements.

Scheduled Testing Appointments
Testing will begin again at Maryland Stadium the week of September 14.

Testing will be held from 8:30am - 3:30pm on each of these days:
  • September 15-18
  • September 22-24
  • September 29
  • October 1
Walk-in testing will not be available during these events. Advance registration will be required. Appointments can be scheduled at return.umd.edu.

If you are not on or near campus, find information about testing sites in your area.

These requirements apply to students at the Baltimore, College Park, Shady Grove and Washington, DC campuses.
