Walk-in advising is limited to brief, 10-15 minute sessions with an advisor "on call" for quick questions about issues with impending deadlines. Walk-in advising during Term B in Fall 2015 will be:

  • Tuesdays in College Park from 2:00 - 4:00 pm
  • Wednesdays in Washington, DC from 1:00 - 2:00 pm
  • Thursdays from 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Students are encouraged to make a 30-minute appointment with an advisor to discuss academic goals and questions or get specialized advising on specific topics. Please send an email to Malissa at to schedule an appointment.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law established to protect the privacy of student records. The Masters Program Office and the faculty at the Smith School of Business and staff abide by these privacy guidelines. Confidential student information will not be communicated to a third party, including immediate family members, without the expressed consent of the student, except when allowed under FERPA law.
