Registration Instructions

Students will receive a track assignment in their Smoogle email and must register for this track.

Students who are accelerating to complete the program in 12 or 16 months should register for the schedule to which they were assigned. Then, read the "Registration Notes" section at the bottom of this page. This provides instructions to request alternate courses, and deadlines for Independent Studies.

- Click: After all courses are added, click "Submit Changes"
- Note: A message will appear stating the course is non-standard; students must click "Enter" to bypass this message.

Students accelerating to a 12-month or 16-month degree program:

Alternate Finance Courses: When Spring registration opens, accelerating students will be permitted to register for only the courses on their assigned schedule. Students who wish to request an additional or an alternate finance course (finance courses are BUFN courses with sections 0501, 0502, or 0503), should follow the above registration instructions and then submit a request on the Course Request Form. Course requests for Term C and Term D should be made as soon as possible and will be reviewed in the order that they are received. All course requests must be submitted by December 16, 2019. Course requests submitted after this date will not be considered. To request a course outside of the Finance program, contact Rachel Phillips.

Independent Study Courses: Accelerating students interested in participating in an Independent Study course for either Term C or Term D should meet with Rachel Phillips to discuss the process and paperwork by December 16, 2019. All paperwork for Independent Study courses for Term C or Term D must be submitted by January 13, 2020—Independent Study paperwork submitted after this date will not be considered.
