The academic environment at the Smith School is rigorous. As an MBA student, you are required to complete a total of 54 credit hours - 20 required course credits, 2 Technology Core Option course credits, and 32 Elective course credits. 

The College Park MBA curriculum has two components: 

  1. The Core Curriculum emphasizes learning fundamental business concepts, critical analytical and problem solving skills and essential teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
  2. Electives enable you to explore specific functional areas in depth. Please note that MBA students do not formally declare a specialization area and specialization areas do not appear on the diploma.
