The Counseling Center is offering a number of counseling groups specifically for graduate students. These groups are a great way to connect with others, learn about yourself, improve your mental health, and receive support. This semester groups will take place virtually. An intake appointment is required to participate in the groups. The groups are free to registered graduate students. See the group information below for more details:
Graduate Student General Therapy Group
This group is a safe space for graduate students to understand and express emotions, explore better ways of interacting with others, and find increased authenticity in relationships in and out of the therapy room.

Women's Graduate Student Support Group
This group is designed to provide female graduate students with support around graduate school stressors and provide an opportunity to learn new coping strategies. This forum will provide its members a chance to connect with other women graduate students across other disciplines.

The Health Center has daily online meditation groups which vary in topic. Students can go to https://health.umd.edu/
